One of my weaknesses for sure!😁🙈 The weird pic is of gluten strands that the dough forms. Beautiful, isn't it? Made me smile. I'm a baking science nerd! 😄🙈👓 Obviously, I don't have a tandoori oven in my backyard, although I wish I did...but these turned out perfectly on the stove - creating those signature naan bubbles. I brushed these with garlic-chilli butter, of course 👊😊 A little history... "Indian bread has long history. Naan comes from the Persian word for bread and refers to a flatbread primarily associated with India. Traditionally, naan (pronounced NAHN and sometimes spelled "nan") was leavened by airborne yeasts and baked in a tandoor oven."
